APT Taipei 2026
The APT returns to Taipei's Asia Poker Arena for a 12-day festival totalling roughly TWD 207M (~USD 6.5M) in guarantees. Taipei stops sold out every day of the 2025 edition; the 2026 schedule expands into more flights and adds a High Roller and Super High Roller weekend.

How to register
From the lobby cage to the buy-in.

On-site hours: Cage 10:00 – late daily during the festival; late-reg typically through Level 12 on Day 1 flights.
Late reg: Main Event flights re-enter through the end of Level 12; check the APT app for each event.
ID: Passport for foreign entrants; Taiwan ROC ID for locals. Visa-free entry for most Western passports for 90 days.
Payment: TWD cash at the cage. USD accepted at the on-site money-changer at a competitive rate; no card payments for buy-ins.
Getting there & where to stay
Airport, transit, hotels.
Airport: Taoyuan International (TPE) — 40 min by MRT Airport Line to Taipei Main Station, then 10 min taxi to Red Point Center.
Transit: Songshan Airport (TSA) is closer to downtown Taipei for regional flights. MRT + taxi from either is straightforward and cheap.

- 01Download the APT app before arriving — table draws, chip counts and payouts are pushed there in real time.
- 02Cage accepts TWD cash only; the on-site money-changer converts USD/JPY/HKD at fair rates. Bring TWD for Day 1 to skip a queue.
- 03Follow signage inside Red Point Center from the ground-floor entrance up to the Asia Poker Arena floor.
- 04Bilingual EN/中文 floor team; dealers speak enough English to run tables comfortably for foreign players.
