GUKPT Glasgow 2026
Leg 5 of the 2026 Grosvenor UK Poker Tour — eleven days of poker at Grosvenor Casino Merchant City in Glasgow, August 13 – 23. The £1,000 buy-in Main Event carries a £200,000 guarantee. It is also the GUKPT's first-ever visit to Glasgow, replacing the long-running Edinburgh stop on the 20th-season schedule.

Late reg: GUKPT Main Events typically allow late registration through a published number of levels on each Day 1; check the event-specific structure on gukpt.com.
ID: UK law requires Grosvenor membership and government-issued photo ID (passport or driving licence) before entering the gaming floor. Membership is free at the door.
Payment: Buy-ins are paid at the cashier in GBP cash or by debit card. Credit cards are not accepted for gambling under UK regulation. Bank transfer is supported for higher buy-ins by prior arrangement with the casino.

Airport: Glasgow International (GLA) — about 10 miles west. Airport bus 500 to Buchanan Street takes ~25 minutes, then a 5-minute walk; taxi is 20–30 minutes outside peak.
Transit: Grosvenor Casino Merchant City sits at 18 Glassford Street, G1 1UL — a 5-minute walk from Glasgow Queen Street rail station and a 10-minute walk from Glasgow Central. Subway: Buchanan Street.

- 02Register and pay the buy-in at the poker cashier in GBP cash or by debit card.
- 03Check the seat-draw screen in the cardroom for table and seat assignment.
- 04Take your seat before late-reg closes; the floor will not seat new players mid-hand.

- ♣Cashless tipping isn't the norm; keep a few coins for dealers if you cash-out chips.
