EPT Barcelona 2026
The European Poker Tour returns to Casino Barcelona on the city's waterfront for a fortnight of EPT and PokerStars Open action, August 16 – 29, 2026. PokerStars' 2026 confirmation positions the festival in its usual late-August slot after the 2025 Main Event ranked among the three largest in EPT history (near €10M prize pool, winner over €1.4M).

Late reg: EPT and PokerStars Open events typically allow late registration through a published number of levels on Day 1; the exact cutoff is listed per event on the official schedule.
ID: Spanish law requires every player to register with Casino Barcelona and present a valid passport or EU national ID at the door before entering the gaming floor.
Payment: Buy-ins are paid at the casino cashier in EUR cash or by major debit/credit card. Wire transfer is supported for higher buy-ins via Casino Barcelona's cashier — confirm in advance.
Getting there & where to stay
Airport, transit, hotels.
Airport: Barcelona–El Prat (BCN) — about 15 km southwest. Aerobús or RENFE R2 Nord train to central Barcelona, then taxi/metro to Port Olímpic.
Transit: Casino Barcelona sits beside Port Olímpic at Carrer de la Marina 19-21. Metro line L4 (Ciutadella | Vila Olímpica) is the closest stop; taxis from the city centre are short and cheap.

- 02Buy in at the poker desk inside the casino in EUR cash or by card and collect your ticket.

- 04Pass security at the gaming-floor entrance; bags must be checked into the cloakroom.
- 05Take your seat before late-reg closes — the floor will not seat you mid-hand.
