On the ground
What seasoned regs already know.
- ♣Melbourne's coffee is a real thing — the walk out of Crown across the river to Degraves Street is worth doing on a break.
- ♣April/May is Melbourne autumn — 12–20°C and changeable. Pack layers, the poker room is heated.
- ♣Trams inside Melbourne's Free Tram Zone (which includes Southbank) are free — an easy way to get to Federation Square, Flinders St, and back.
