On the ground

What seasoned regs already know.

  • Cambodia uses USD as a de-facto currency — bring clean, non-torn US bills for buy-ins; you'll get change in KHR under $1.
  • Grab and PassApp both work in Phnom Penh; taxis on the street rarely use meters.
  • August is monsoon season — humid, warm (28–32°C), afternoon storms. The tournament floor is heavily air-conditioned; bring a hoodie.
